What is a Creative Embassy?
A Creative Embassy is quite similar to a normal embassy, but instead of diplomacy, we exchange art scenes throughout Europe.
It’s a physical place in a city, where artists and cultural organizations connect with each other and learn from each other how to tackle issues and challenges that affect both cities.
Think braindrain, vacant retail stores and so on.
Through the Creative Embassies, local artists with international ambitions have easy and direct access to the complete network of the Creative Embassies, which is expanding as we speak.
At this moment we have embassies in:
Rijeka, Croatia
Salford, United Kingdom
Leeuwarden, Netherlands
Our ambition is to add two cities every year.
